Why I’m So Passionate About Helping You Invest Well

Today, we talk about why I’m so passionate about helping you invest well now. And, what got me into investing in the first place.

I’m often asked why I’m so passionate about finance and helping people learn valuable skills like financial literacy, value investing, stock analysis, capital allocation, and valuation.

In a recent Facebook Live on the Value Investing Journey Facebook Group, why I’m so passionate about helping you invest well in the video you see below.

Let’s get to it

Hint – It wasn’t because I loved it when I started. It was because my wife told me she was pregnant with our first child.

And as a soon to be dad I put the pressure on myself to figure out something I could do to make money for my now growing family at some point in the future.

While dealing with debilitating health issues.

I detail the 3 things I came up with that I could potentially do. And, why by default I chose to dedicate myself to learning about investing.

Why was investing on my list of three things at all though?

Because in my high school consumerism class about the power of compound interest. This powerful concept that Albert Einstein called the 8th Wonder of the World stuck with me so much that when I was thinking about things I could do to make money, this was still in my mind years later.

I also detail in the video how seeing my parents getting ripped off by their “financial advisor” convinced me this was the path I needed to go down. So, I could help people manage and grow their money the right way.

You’ll also see why we NEED more financial literacy worldwide to help people get out of and stay out of poverty.

I also give you some tips in the video about how to spot a financial advisor who may rip you off. So, you can avoid this yourself.

One important tip I want to put here for those that don’t watch the video.

If anyone in the world of finance or investment ever tells you the investment or opportunity is zero risk or no risk. Or they guarantee you a specific huge return. You need to run away from them as fast as you can.
There’s always risk in any investment. And if someone says something like the above to you they are lying.
I cover more in the video above, so to watch it make sure to scroll back up.
Always in your service,
