Charity Program for 2020: Helping Typhoon Victims in the Philippines this Holiday Season

On November 11th, the Philippines was hit by “Super Typhoon Vamco”, and it devastated much of the country as you can see in the picture above.

  • Flooding
  • Homes Lost
  • Livelihoods Lost
  • Family Members Lost

The storm destroyed more than 270,000 homes and led to 111 deaths. And made The Philippine’s already bad problem with homelessness much worse.

Every year I donate money to causes in the Philippines around Christmas to feed, clothe, educate, and take care of kids and families in the country.

And this year we’ve chosen to help people affected by this typhoon.

Why?

My connection with the Philippines

I have a close connection with the Philippines.

My wife is a Filipina.

My 3 daughters are half Filipina.

Much of my wife’s family is Filipino.

All of my team members are Filipino.

I love the Filipino culture of putting family first.

And I love Filipino food.

This year I am reaching out to you to join me by donating any amount to the victims of this typhoon that devastated parts of the Philippines.

100% of your contributions – barring any fees GoFundMe takes out – will go toward buying food, clothing, and helping those most affected by this typhoon.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

P.S. Here below are some of the past ways we’ve helped those in need in the Philippines to give you some reference on how your donation will be used this year.

Last year we donated food packs to typhoon victims in Bicol and earthquake victims in Davao.
